We are seeking a passionate, inspiring, and highly organised Primary Music Specialist to join our dedicated school team. This role involves providing high-quality PPA cover, combining responsibility for delivering engaging music lessons with the coordination of our wider music provision. As the driving force behind our music curriculum, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant, inclusive and musical environment for all pupils.
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional music education following the National Curriculum and the Charanga framework, ensuring all children can participate, achieve and develop their skills across various instruments, including percussion, ukuleles and keyboards. Working as an integral member of the teaching staff, you will also support class teachers in preparing pupils for performances (such as Christmas and Summer concerts), maintain effective records of pupil progress, oversee timetables for peripatetic music teachers and help strengthen our extra-curricular music offer through choirs, orchestras, and music trips.
