We are seeking to employ a new Site Manager to be part of delivering our vision by ensuring our buildings and facilities are clean, safe and fit for purpose. We are looking for a site manager with exceptionally high standards who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, clean and running like clockwork.
The successful candidate will be self-directed in noticing where things need attention and proactive in improving our buildings and facilities with a ‘can do’ attitude. We are looking for hands-on, proactive Site Manager to join our friendly school team.
Our new Site Manager will have a key role in ensuring our pupils and staff have a secure, well-maintained environment to learn and thrive. Our ideal candidate should be highly organised and ensure that statutory safety checks are always carried out promptly and effectively, keeping regular logs to audit that relevant checks have been carried out.
This role is crucial to the educational success of our pupils because without our facilities we cannot ensure they learn. Our new Site Manager will understand their important role in educating children and be highly motivated to deliver on it.
The successful candidate will be:
● An experienced Site Manager or someone with relevant facilities management experience
● Resilient, passionate, ambitious and ready to take responsibility for our buildings and facilities
● Highly organised, self-directed reliable and dependable
● Have a range of practical skills at least of the standard of a competent ‘DIYer’ and be ready to use them to help keep our building working well
● Able to work with and coordinate contractors ensuring that they work safely, to specification and timescales, holding them accountable where they do not with a high degree of independence
● Work with our Office Manager to develop and build positive relationships with our lettings customers and other important stakeholders
● Trustworthy with a genuine commitment to changing lives
