  • About The Role

  • We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to supervise our children during the midday period. Ideally you will have some experience in dealing with children during the midday period, supervising them in the playground and in the dinner hall. 

    The main duties and responsibilities include:
    1. To play games with the children on the playground
    2. Securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break period.
    3. Supervising the pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises and may include ancillary associated duties ( i.e. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean etc ) and ensuring the maintenance of good order and discipline.
    4. To work together as a team to ensure children are supervised at all times.
    5. To keep children suitably occupied inside the building in the event of bad weather.
    6. To encourage the children to behave well by following the schools behaviour policy..

    This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification.
