You will be an experienced head of department, or have experience gained in a second in charge role, ready for the next step in your career. Our ideal candidate will be someone who has the vision, drive, and determination to build on our department’s success and take it to the next level.
As a department our ethos is that “Art makes children powerful” and we pride ourselves on a curriculum that is inclusive, challenging and builds skills and knowledge in a range of techniques and disciplines including Fine Art, Sculpture, Print making, 3D design, Photography, Food Tech and Hospitality and Catering. We have extensive facilities including; dark room, kiln, etching presses, laser cutting, vacuum forming machinery, cameras, access to the latest Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South is a multi-academy trust with five primary and four secondary schools in and around south-east London. These are currently organised as four ‘clusters’, Crayford Academy is part of the Bexley cluster which provides schooling for children aged 3-18 with over 1600 children in three schools: Crayford Academy (secondary), Crayford Primary and Slade Green Primary.
