We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant whose dual role will be to deliver small group interventions and also to manage the dinner hall at lunchtime. Experience in behaviour management and allergen awareness and management would be an advantage.
In our Trust, a Teaching Assistant is far more than classroom support; you are a key architect in building a child’s confidence, independence, and agency. We are seeking an empathetic, proactive team player who can help break down barriers to learning, run targeted interventions, and create an environment where every child feels supported to take on new challenges.
Whether you have years of experience supporting learning, a background in childcare or SEND, or are looking to take your first steps toward a career in education, your talent will be valued here. In our community, support staff are vital partners in driving educational standards and fostering a strong sense of belonging.
Together, let’s unlock potential, and ensure every child gets their chance to shine.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will be someone who:
* Builds warm, positive, and respectful relationships with pupils.
* Is patient, adaptable, and understanding of diverse educational, social, and emotional needs.
*Works collaboratively with class teachers to support high-quality learning and classroom management.
*Confidently delivers targeted one-to-one or small-group interventions in literacy, numeracy, or wellbeing.
*Encourages pupil independence, resilience, and positive behavior for learning.
*Is enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to contributing to the wider life of the school community.
*Is dedicated to helping pupils of all abilities make progress and achieve their full potential.
