As a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the daily care and development of children (aged 9 months – 3 years) within our setting. You will assist in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment, where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively. You will work closely with the team to deliver a high-quality early years education and contribute to the overall success of Upland’s Little Explorers.
The ideal candidate will have:
· A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification or equivalent.
· A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
· Understanding of child development and early years education.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use initiative.
· Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection regulations.
· Previous experience working in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
