Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a member of staff to join our Maths department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, talented, and passionate Teacher of Mathematics to start from 28th August 2025.

This is a full time, permanent role, paid based on the Outer London STPC Main/Upper Teachers Pay Range, dependant on experience.
The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000, which split into the following payments - £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service.

This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
