We are looking to appoint a caring, patient, supportive and confident person who is enthusiastic about working with children during their lunch time meal break, to work 7 hours 30 minutes per week across Monday to Friday, this is a fixed term position required for one year. This is a crucial role in the life of our school. We are seeking a person who understands how to manage pupils positively, in a way that makes them feel safe and secure, but which also expects and requires the highest standards of behaviour.
We are seeking a person who enjoys working with children, who has the patience to listen to pupils and help them resolve their disputes positively, a person willing to supervise games, referee a football match or play a board game in a quiet club. This post is a customer-facing position and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
